Xact Systems for Emissions and Environmental Monitoring Now Available Directly from Pall Corporation

Cooper Environmental Services LLC is pleased to announce that XactTM systems are now offered directly by Pall Corporation (NYSE:PLL), a global leader in filtration, separation and purification leader with offices around the world.

Xact systems take advantage of X-Ray fluorescence (XRF) to identify airborne metallic particles trapped in Pall’s microporous filtration membranes technology. When exposed to X-rays, the membrane surfaces exhibit fluorescent signatures that identify the nature and volume of the heavy metal residue captured within.

Xact systems monitor single or multiple metals in on-stack and ambient applications. The precise data generated by Xact systems will enable power producers and other industries to demonstrate compliance with, or take measures to meet, environmental regulatory requirements.
For emissions monitoring at the stack, Pall is now offering the Xact 640 Multi-Metal Continuous Emissions Monitoring System and the Xact 645 Continuous Mercury Monitor.
For ambient atmospheric testing, Pall offers the Xact 620 Ambient Metals Monitor, which can be used to identify “hot spots” in complex urban air sheds, and the Xact 625 Multi-Metals Fence-Line Monitor designed for monitoring ambient air at the facility periphery.
